Thanks for checking out this site. It's a work in progress, just like my life.
I live to write, or write to live, depending on the day. I've kept a journal since I was nine years old. Some of the earliest entries are about losing pop warner football games and praying for my brother's pet mouse who carried its two broken back legs around like a sleigh.
I grew up in a small town in New York, an hour and a half outside NYC; it was a deadbeat town I took too seriously in high school. I never wanted to live there again.
Undergrad: I studied entrepreneurship at Grove City College. Met my bride, dated 3.5 years, and married after graduation. We married young; a fact I’m proud of.
After academia, I held a number of marketing positions at a SMB nonprofit, then a large commercial real estate firm, both in Johnson City, Tennessee, and then finally a digital agency in Washington DC.
DC wasn't for me, at least at that stage in my life. So my wife and I launched into a drastic change. A different life.
My wife became a travel nurse and we began moving every three months to a new city. We started in Phoenix, then Salt Lake City, then San Francisco, and beyond.
This lifestyle gives me the freedom to pursue a writing career with full strength. I love it.
